Here are the pictures of the landscaping work we had done this year by Powers Lawn & Garden. The work in the front yard was all stone, rock and bed work-- no new plantings were done. We will be doing some more plantings ourselves in the front. The beds were expanded, walls were built and creek rock installed. The back yard was more or less a blank slate. All the rock, stone, bed work and plantings are new, except for a four trees that we planted late last year. The stone work around the patio is very nice. With the plantings it offers us much more shade and privacy to enjoy our new landscaping and the open views to the west. I had the wall pre-wired for speakers (you'll notice the speaker wire poking out of the end pillars.) We won't be using that wire, so I'll just drop it back inside the pillar. Instead, I installed a couple Bose Free Space 51 outdoor speakers (you'll notice the odd green plastic "planting" in a couple of the pics-- that is one of the speakers.) We still need to have the post lamps installed on the end pillars. I'll update pictures after the electrician is done.
